2012 - My Year Day 5

Ok I know Ricky’s 100 was yesterday but today was the end of what was one of the best Cricket innings by Australia In a long time and I’m happy to see the 2 old guys raise there bats after all the talk about dropping them. Clarke getting 300 was a great surprise and declaring knowing that he is likely never to get there again putting the team first might have changed my thoughts of him being all about himself. All I can say is maybe Clarke should never get a bat sponsor ;)

Wednesday Night = Connect Night!!! great group of people, great music and sharing what God is doing in our lives :) this is just a few of the fantastic people around. Wish I met these guys earlier.

So this is just a small blog today and im sure you will see a lot more about these people as the year goes on good to have friends I can call family

2012 - My Year Day 3

3rd day of the year done and running around from morning to afternoon use to be so easy when I was young could go all day but today the young guys got the best of me so tired I even slept through the last 2 hours of a test match so unlike me lol. But it is so good to get out to places I had been to so many times growing up and just seeing how much things have changed made me think I wonder what Newcastle will be like in another 20 years ???

2012 - My Year Day 2

Well another day has come and will no real plans for the day I knew I needed to drive and im so glad i did it was another beautiful day in Newy again I took a bunch of photos today and nothing really shows my day off then driving for the perfect photo or place.

It really makes me think about all the stuff we miss while looking for what we want. Again not really knowing where i was going or what my photo for the day would be I just trusted I would get the shot I wanted. I cant say enough how much I love this town

2012 - My Year Day 1

So as I look back on 2011 I realised It has been a year I will remember there have been highs and lows and I wouldn’t have it any other. It has been a year I struggled in learning who I’m going to be will I succeed? But as I have come to realise it is not something to live my life by always being scared will forever keep me from getting where I want to be but not in 2012. Last year saw my life changing for the good even if I didn’t always realise, I changed the area I was studying and found I was able to pass all my subjects even when I felt it getting to hard I got to the end and didn’t give up. Now that may not sound like much but for me it has been huge just to be able to believe in myself. 2011 is also a year I found I was able to get closer to knowing my God and finding out why I’m really here. My Connect Family has helped me out a lot and I hope that every one of them knows how much they mean to me friends for life I truly believe.

So as long as I look forward to 2012 learn from the past and grow from it and not dwell on it I see the sunrise on 2012 being the beginning of the new me one where I move out of home. Find a job. Continue to do well with my studies and to finding out more of what gods plan is for me and who knows maybe find my soul mate only time will tell.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

So my 2012 motto : I shale no longer fear what my past might bring to my future, but to be excited about what my future can bring to me.

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

I hope 2012 brings you everything you dream and deserve and if I could have one wish for the year for everybody it would be that we can all see the beauty in the now. Life is short don’t waste any more in the what ifs but go for it good or bad your never alone.
